Fabulous location and hotel!
After spending a full day touring the North Fork wineries along rt. 25, settling in at Greenport was the perfect choice. The bed in our deluxe king room was delightful, as was the view from our balcony over the harbor. The bathroom was to die for---love the shower! And on-site parking made for easy walking to great restaurants and bars nearby. Highly recommend!!
My girlfriend and I visited Long Island the weekend after St Paddys day, for our birthdays. We stayed at the Harborfront Inn for two days enjoying the east end. This is our second time staying with Harborfront and we loved it just as much as the last time. Such a classy, sophisticated and relaxing environment, with a perfect location for beaches, bars, wine tasting and sight-seeing. From now on, any time we visit Long Island we will stay at the Harborfront. The staff was fantastic also!
Harborfront Inn a GREAT Greenport Getaway!
My husband and I recently did a one night, midweek, getaway at the Harborfront Inn. I recommend splurging $20.00 for the harbor view! The room was incredible with the high tech shower and the luxurious bedding and towels. The deal came with breakfast and a $20.00 credit for dinner in the adorable town of Greenport. The Inn is within walking distance of the Shelter Island Ferry. We brought our bikes and had a great time exploring Shelter Island both days! We will definitely be back!
Great Off-Season Getaway
Great hotel! We had a large, bright, third-floor room with a wonderful view of the harbor, a nice little balcony, and a great spa shower in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. Greenport has a charming downtown with some fantastic restaurants - all an easy stroll from the Harborfront. Convenient to the Shelter Island ferry and all the vineyards, there is still plenty to do and see off-season with the Harborfront as your home base.
