SEPTEMBER 24 & 25: Greenport Maritime Festival:  11:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. Parade starts at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and Chowder contest is Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.Vendors, roaming musicians, Village Blacksmith, old-fashioned games, treasure chest, arts & crafts, pirate shows, kayak derby, live music and much more. OCTOBER 1 & 2: East End Greenfest:  10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Green living exhibits, local wineries, healthy and local foods, green vendors, natural and handmade crafts and more than 14 original bands and performers on solar-powered stage.
