2014 Anemometer White
An elegant blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier
This elegant blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier presents aromas of baked pear, melon and vanilla. Fresh flavors of nectarine, green apple and new French oak with a soft but full mouthfeel.
2014 was an excellent vintage on Long Island. After the cold winter, bud break came late. June and July were very wet, but the dry prevailed consistently through to harvest. Cool nights alternating with warm days enhanced the color, and allowed for the slow, steady ripening of a bounty of high quality fruit.
